You can recognize him thanks to a white silvery flame, located between the eye and the back.
Two dark strips strech from the eye as far as the anus. It's back fin is medium and he looks like a sickle.
- It's maximum length is 2,40 meters, and it's weight from 100 to 150 kgs.
Females are vey often smaller.
- It's life average length is 40 years.
- After a 12 months gestation, the female gives birth to a baby dolphin which length can vary from 80 cms to 1 meter.
The female will breastfeed it until the dolphin is 12 to 18 months.

You can recognize it thanks to its dark back, from its back mouth its caudale fin. Its pectorals fins are dark, however its lower sides
and stomach are white. On the uppersides, a gry zone is shaped as a streched triangle, which forms a large flat X. It could be compared to a hourglass.
Its back fin looks like a sickle.
- Maximum length for a male 2.50 m and 2.30 m for a female.
- Weight between 70 and 100 kgs.
- It's life lenght is from 25 to 30 years.
- It hunts by packs, leading a group of fishes in direction to the surface of the water, and then eat them. |

Its flanks have a regular dark grey color, which is clearer on the abdomen. Its short beak mouth is well shaped, and as its mouth line is directed to the top, which can make it look like a smile.
- Length between 2 and 4 meters, for a weight between 150 kgs to 600 kgs for males, while females are a little smaller.
- Its life length is from 30 to 40 years.
- You can meet this species in the deep sea, as well as by the coast line, where he likes to stay with groups from 2 to 20 of them.
- The tursiops is a particulary sociable animal, which shows its solidarity in the most part of its life actions. |

Its color varies all long its life. The young one is dark grey and as it gets older it gets clearer.
Its epidermis is made of a top layer which doesn't put together again after an a injury, or a damage. It lets a definitive clear lower
layer.
- Back shaped as a claw, longer than high.
- Lenght between 3 and 4 meters for a weight from 300 kgs to 500 kgs.
- No beak mouth. Rounded head.
- Its life lenght is from 20 to 30 years.
- It mainly eats squids. |

- Its body is black tar colored, appart from a silver color spot which extends under its throat. Long and bended pectorals.
- Back shaped with a concave posterior, longer than high.
- No beak mouth. Rounded head.
- Maximum length 7 meters, with a weight which can vary from 2 to 4 tonnes. Females are smaller.
- Its life lenght varies from 40 to 60 years. It seems like females live longer than males.
- It mainly eats squids, and it goes fishing down to 500 meters deep in the water. Its diving can last 15 minutes. |
